Foriegn Canadians

There is a big community of Chinese, Lebanese and Iranians in Toronto. These communities are very well integrated in the Canadian socity. I don't know how the Canadian authorities have succeeded in doing so but something is sure : Europe has the lessons to learn from this experience. I am not at all trying to say that this is the fault of the successive governments in europe. But something is sure, there is something not turning round here in Europe.

The foriegn communities in Canada are living over there just as the Canadians do. You really feel this. Outskirts of europeen cities are filled with differents nationalities and you see very well the life level difference with the native ones. Forigners can't enter this closed circle of native people. Like if there was a law about it.
Over there people seem to be sure of future. Can you imagine a bank giving a loan over 20 years to a foriegn couple just after one year being here in France for example to buy a house? Over there I saw a real case and I was really surprised. To be honest I was a bit shoked.
I think people in general have a different approach towards life. It's just their mentality. You notice it in the very first glance just the way they drive. No stress, no rush. Just relaxed and really cool. If life was only about this, Canada would be the heaven on earth.

From me to you guys : Canada is a super place. I loved evryday of my three weeks that I passed there. People are really nice and friendly. No one seems stressed. people drive very nicely ( at least compared with places I know). And food is cheap. You go to restaurants or coffee shops, it really doesn't cost much. Nothing to do with what is practiced in Europe. True that sometimes I just wished to find a jambon/beurre sandwich but all together it was nice. If I had to live forever over there, the only thing that could bother me after a while would have been food. You find fast foods only( nearly). If not, you have to start trying foods from other countries. Those who think there are so many immigrants in Europe, have to go to Toronto. There are so much immigrant which is a bit surprising at the begining. But they are very well off. They have their activities and you can't see any difference with othere areas of Toronto. When you start going out of Toronto and get into the nature, you'll find out there are so many lakes everywhere. So many of them. And really beatifull.
